Born and raised in Fremont, Ohio, Mandy Hamlin's hospitality and event planning journey is inspiring. A Bowling Green State University alumna, her career blossomed from the vineyards of Mon Ami Winery to the historic corridors of Mackinac Island's Mission Point Resort. With each step, from the Sheraton Hotel at Capitol Square to the Hilton Columbus Downtown to the iconic Hilton Chicago Palmer House, Mandy's passion for creating unforgettable experiences grew stronger. It was in Columbus where she met Mike, and together, they dreamed of a venture that would combine their love for food and community—Kitchen 212º.

Mike Hamlin: The Culinary Adventurer

Mike Hamlin, a native of Akron, Ohio, embarked on his culinary quest later in life but quickly made up for lost time. After graduating from Hocking College, his culinary journey took him from the Sheraton Columbus Capitol Square to the bustling kitchens of the Greater Columbus Convention Center and beyond. Mike’s creativity and dedication to his craft shone through with each dish, allowing him to showcase his talents from Columbus to Chicago's Navy Pier. Yet, the unexpected twists of life, including the pandemic, brought Mike and Mandy back to Northeast Ohio to start Kitchen 212º.

Launching Kitchen 212º amid the COVID-19 pandemic was a bold move, but for Mike and Mandy, it was a chance to turn adversity into opportunity.
